TARGET, AIM, FIRE Flohr practices shooting on targets in the yard with a bow alongside her cousin. Flohr had to undergo hunter safety training before she could start hunting to ensure the right precautions were being taken. “Even experienced hunters can make a miss-hit, where you accidentally wound an animal when you hit it,” said Flohr. “That is why we practice constantly and have very strict rules to make sure no one gets hurt and we aren’t accidentally wounding them.”

Nicholas Phan ‘97 accepts the Best Opera Recording award at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. “He was just starting out with performing when I was teaching him, so it has been wonderful to watch his career develop,” said history teacher Bruce Zellers. “I’ve gotten to see him on stage a number of times, and that’s been a thrill.”
