PLANNING PARTY Eleana Zhuang ‘25 and Hannah Lee ‘25 look at the 2024-2025 course guide. “I’m really excited about ‘English IV: Critically Reading Children’s Literature’,” Zhuang said. “Children’s books are very nostalgic to me and I think it would be cool to look at them now with a new perspective and a critical lens.”

ROUGH TERRAIN Beck races on a hilly and rocky course on his mountain bike. “I like longer courses because of the terrain and how it’s not just the same thing over and over,” Beck said. “On these courses, it’s about navigating the hills and maintaining a good pace because the course is so long.”

I think open note testing is good because it allows for students to have their basic concept of what they are learning in front of them, and that way the teachers can make the test where the students have to apply the concepts in a more difficult way instead of having students memorize basic equations or concepts, said Shah.
