USING AI ACADEMICALLY The new AI guidelines feature a three-zone chart that clearly states the way students should use AI depending on the zone in which it’s it. “The chart is really helpful because it’s direct and easy to follow,” said Maeve Hammond ‘27. “When teachers put it in assignments, there’s no question on how much AI we can use on that given assignment.”

PLENTIFUL PERSPECTIVES In eighth grade, history students look into different media biases and how they show through the website AllSides which shows the impact bias has on journalism. “The lesson we had was really important,” said Evan Teeter ‘29. “It's important to know how to get the facts when we research what is actually happening in the news.”

PICKETT PICKED Greenhills basketball is going in a new direction by hiring new Varsity Head coach Jason Pickett. With lots of prior experience, Greenhills looks forward to good seasons under his coaching and hope to keep the team talented. “He’s awesome, we are really thrilled to have him at Greenhills,” said Ward.

COORDINATING FROM THE CORNER Inside of the trainer’s room, Greenhills’ Health Service Coordinator Christine Gajar works to make sure that all Greenhills staff are ready in case of emergency. “When we hire coaches or when we're onboarding coaches, we'll ask for their [training] certificates,” said Gajar, “if they don't have them, then we’ll provide that training.”
