FLIPPING INTO FIRST A large component of the routine that can make or break the score are flips and lifts and each person has a different role. Chloe Ramcharan ‘26, far right, is responsible for pushing the flyer’s foot to provide momentum to complete the flip. “We had one time where the coaches decided to change the spot right before a competition and the flip ended up not working because they changed the spots and like the girl fell almost directly on her head,” Ramcharan said. “But that's when our strong team bond shows because the people next to her lifted her up and saved her.”

SOCCER STAR Dayne Bartscht ‘04, pictured on the right, was a star player and captain of the soccer team at Greenhills. “He was the guy you wanted on your team and the player that other teams loved to hate,” Associate Director of Admissions and former athletic director Eric Gajar said. “He was chippy, and he didn’t take anything from other people.”

ROUGH TERRAIN Beck races on a hilly and rocky course on his mountain bike. “I like longer courses because of the terrain and how it’s not just the same thing over and over,” Beck said. “On these courses, it’s about navigating the hills and maintaining a good pace because the course is so long.”
