Workshopping Commitment The team is utilizing auditions in order for the coaches to select the most committed and successful participants in each forensics event. To help participants prepare for these auditions, workshops are being held for each event category. Public Address, Interpretation, and Limited Preparation. “There have been people who have been showing up at the workshops every few weeks, so we’re already seeing the people who are super committed,” said Bellamy.

SERVICE STARS: Annabelle Brummett ‘30, Saanvika Nichani ‘30, and Audrey Vaidya ‘30 participate in R.O.C.K.S (Ripples of Caring and Kindness in School) service club. R.O.C.K.S is one of many clubs at Greenhills aimed at helping students find their passions and give back to the community, which can be quite the task. “It was a little crazy organizing 310 kids into 18 clubs and organizing 310 kids into 18 more clubs,” said Maldonado. “But they did a good job.”

PROUD TO BE AN ATHLETE According to Athletic Director Tom Ward, Jackson is driven by the goal of creating a program that athletes can be prideful of. “He’s very energetic and passionate about athletics and putting on really high quality programs that everyone is proud of and everyone wants to be a part of,” Ward said.

PICKETT PICKED Greenhills basketball is going in a new direction by hiring new Varsity Head coach Jason Pickett. With lots of prior experience, Greenhills looks forward to good seasons under his coaching and hope to keep the team talented. “He’s awesome, we are really thrilled to have him at Greenhills,” said Ward.

COORDINATING FROM THE CORNER Inside of the trainer’s room, Greenhills’ Health Service Coordinator Christine Gajar works to make sure that all Greenhills staff are ready in case of emergency. “When we hire coaches or when we're onboarding coaches, we'll ask for their [training] certificates,” said Gajar, “if they don't have them, then we’ll provide that training.”

VIVID BRUSH STROKES Elizabeth Wilson-Hill is working on a Mural in Brazil. “I just couldn't imagine living my life without having art in it every day.” Said Wilson-Hill, “So I wanted to design a career where I could travel and do art every day.”

KICK HIGH "I’m really excited to see the audience’s reactions to our fight choreography. Our fight choreographer is incredible, so our choreography looks very realistic despite the fact that many of us are inexperienced. I even showed a video of our fights to my piano teacher, who yelled in shock when she saw me appear to kick someone across the face,” said Wren Gawa ’25.
