Workshopping Commitment The team is utilizing auditions in order for the coaches to select the most committed and successful participants in each forensics event. To help participants prepare for these auditions, workshops are being held for each event category. Public Address, Interpretation, and Limited Preparation. “There have been people who have been showing up at the workshops every few weeks, so we’re already seeing the people who are super committed,” said Bellamy.
Forensics team restructures for success
SERVICE STARS: Annabelle Brummett ‘30, Saanvika Nichani ‘30, and Audrey Vaidya ‘30 participate in R.O.C.K.S (Ripples of Caring and Kindness in School) service club. R.O.C.K.S is one of many clubs at Greenhills aimed at helping students find their passions and give back to the community, which can be quite the task. “It was a little crazy organizing 310 kids into 18 clubs and organizing 310 kids into 18 more clubs,” said Maldonado. “But they did a good job.”
Middle school clubs relaunch
FLIPPING INTO FIRST A large component of the routine that can make or break the score are flips and lifts and each person has a different role. Chloe Ramcharan ‘26, far right, is responsible for pushing the flyer’s foot to provide momentum to complete the flip. “We had one time where the coaches decided to change the spot right before a competition and the flip ended up not working because they changed the spots and like the girl fell almost directly on her head,” Ramcharan said. “But that's when our strong team bond shows because the people next to her lifted her up and saved her.”

USING AI ACADEMICALLY The new AI guidelines feature a three-zone chart that clearly states the way students should use AI depending on the zone in which it’s it. “The chart is really helpful because it’s direct and easy to follow,” said Maeve Hammond ‘27. “When teachers put it in assignments, there’s no question on how much AI we can use on that given assignment.”
